Sviatek rated it it was ok Nov 30, N Odhiambo rated it it was amazing Oct 27, Though she spends quite a bit of time in her introduction and conclusion justifying her theoretical situation not formalist, not decon, not thery response, not anythingand ends up with a product that, I think, has a lot to do with formalism anyway, this is a theorh useful book that explains a clear definition of parody: This definition allows Hutcheon to show not only where parody is normative and builds in common with satire, but, crucially, where it can be revolutionary in diverging from satire.
